В Европу бизнес-образование пришло только 20 лет спустя - в 50-х годах. А вообще, возникновение бизнес-школ было связано не только с дефицитом профессиональных управленцев, но и с растущими темпами глобализации экономики. Потому и начали готовить менеджеров, способных управлять везде, где это могло быть необходимо.

Как видим, первая бизнес-школа появилась ещё в 18-м веке в португальском Лиссабоне. А Гарвард в 1910-м стал первой бизнес-школой, названной MBA
.

Действительно, интереснейшая статистика. Стандарт MBA появился раньше, чем это принято считать. Но ещё гораздо раньше появились сами бизнес-школы. Фактически старейшей бизнес-школой в мире является парижская The Ecole Supérieure de Commerce of Paris. Так что роль Европы в становлении бизнес-образования значительнее, чем мне это казалось раньше

Первые стандарты MBA, кстати, возникли по причине отсутствия каких-либо программ
. Составлялись кейсы на основе интервьюирования бизнесменов-практиков, которые делились решением реальных проблем и путями выхода из реальных затруднительных ситуаций в сфере бизнеса. Подобная схема со временем зарекомендовала себя с самой лучшей стороны и сохранилась до сих пор
